The 2008 Elite Retreat event is already over. This years event was truly different. It was the first one that was 100% operated by the “ShoeMoney” staff and wow its not easy ;) . Tigh did a awesome job coordinating everything and Dr. David Klein also stepped in and helped us out a lot.

Here are some of the attendees reviews so far:

Barbara Boser – Elite Retreat

Scott Hendison part 1 and part 2

Zac Johnson – Elite Retreat Networking and Fun Times in San Francisco

Justin Golf – recap – Was it worth the $5000???

John Hasson Elite Retreat 2008 Review

Al Carlton Elite Retreat First Impressions

Gyutae Park Is elite retreat worth 5k?

(these are the ones I found so far. If I missed any please ping me and I will add them)

I have added pictures from this years event to my gallery already (thanks dk!) and will be adding them to the official Elite Retreat site soon.

I have also been getting a lot of questions about having more Elite Retreat events and also making it less expensive and open to more people. If we do another event the last thing I doubt that will ever be changed will be the price point and the cap of only 35 attendees. I really believe that is a big part of what makes the event so special. As far as having more events …. honestly 1 per year is all I really want to deal with at this point.

I want to thank all the speakers. They all did a awesome job! Andy Liu was really the sleeper of the bunch. Andy has always been a behind the scenes guy and I think he had everyone in the room taking notes on the amazing stuff he has been able to accomplish. Andy was also very open about exactly how he did it. I know I have about 2 pages of notes myself ;)

So big thanks again to all the speakers:

Neil Patel

Brian Clark

Andy Liu

Aaron Wall

and special guest keynote speakers:

Guy Kawasaki

Matt Mullenweg

And to the sponsors! Thanks for listening and paying for all the cool things I wanted to do at this years event!
